Ching Ming Festival Food Haunting

I can't deny that I am pretty lazy in updating my blog or I should say I just started to be active in blogging after I graduate. This Food Haunting Trip is happen in 2009 Ching Ming Festival which dated 28th March 2009. (I know it is kinda late.. :p)

This is a sweet sweet memory between my parents, my parents have been stayed in Malacca for one year before I born. This is one of the places they love to visit around 25 years ago but of course it is not located at the exactly same location as it is now. The stall is located in a small lane beside the shop, therefore do not have a high expectation for the cleanliness for this stall. This little stall is famous with its special mixed sauces which they called "混酱".

Their mixed sauce is the secret weapon that make the food nice and impressive, but that day the sauce is a bit salty than usual.

10 minutes before and after the stalls opens.

Boiled Shrimp with a sweet sauce and some cucumber, prawn is just so fresh as expected from Malacca

Grilled Tofu, bean curd, fish ball with some cucumber, crispy bean curd is my favorite but the sauce is a bit salty for me

Cuttle Fish & Water Convolvulus (鱿鱼蕹菜), the peanuts is the smell enhancement for the food
